iLogGPS FAQ

How do I save the data?
The data can either be saved as an email or retrieved using iTunes. All logged data is stored in a file named iLogGPS.txt which can be accessed through iTunes.

What is the "Refresh" button for?
Pressing "Refresh" updates the displayed log data while in the "View Log" screen.

What is the "Clear" button for?
Pressing "Clear" will immediately clear out all GPS data.

What units are the values stored as?
There is a choice of either Metric or English units.

What about the settings?
Sound - Enables or disables an audible indicator that plays each time a GPS data event is logged.
Auto-log - Allows for automatic logging based on GPS location updates.
Units - Data is displayed and saved in either English or Metric units.

What does the GPS Tracking button do?
When the GPS Tracking button is OFF, the GPS system is given the opportunity to go into power saving mode. This is useful instead of having to disable Location Services completely to save power.
